Create candlesticks, tealight holders and incense holders using the pottery wheel. The workshop runs once a week over 3 consecutive weeks. Each session lasts 3 hours, for a total of 9 hours. This course is suitable for both beginners and more experienced potters, with guidance adapted to each student’s level.

WEEK 1
Learn how to throw different forms for candlesticks, tealight holders and incense holders on the pottery wheel. Explore different shapes and sizes while learning how to create functional and well-balanced pieces.

WEEK 2
Refine your pieces and learn trimming techniques. Explore different ways of altering wheel-thrown forms and experiment with adding decorative details, texture and handbuilt elements to personalise your work. Finished pieces will then be prepared for bisque firing.

WEEK 3
Decorate your work. Learn about glazes and experiment with different colours and application techniques before the final firing. Finished pieces will be ready for collection approximately 2–3 weeks later.
